The Bone is a resource from vanilla Minecraft. They are mainly obtained as a mob drop from Skeletons and Wither Skeletons, who may drop 0-2 bones upon death. Alternatively they can be found as loot in Desert and Jungle Temples in stacks of 4 to 6, or by fishing with a Fishing Rod, as part of the "junk" category.
In vanilla Minecraft, one of the main uses of bones is taming wild wolves, which have a 1/3 chance of being tamed when given a bone. Bones are also used to craft Bone Meal, which acts as a fertilizer and white dye. Bone is also a valid Tinkers' Construct tool and weapon material comparable to Stone and Flint.
