Crusher is a machine added by the Immersive Engineering mod. It uses energy (Redstone Flux) to convert ores into dusts. The dust can then be smelted in a furnace.
To use it, items are dropped into the top of the multi-block structure, and can be removed from the black item port at the base. It does not have a GUI - instead, the crushing wheels rotate while it is working. It can also be used to crush mobs, outputting the corresponding drops. If the Crusher is ever fed an item that it cannot process, it will destroy that item.
Power is input via the copper-looking dot, and the machine can be turned off by applying a redstone signal to the red dot on the front of the machine face.
The Crusher can be fed up to 2.147 billion entities and will hold them all in a queue until they are processed. Adding more entities to it than this will likely destroy those entities, although this functionality has not been confirmed.
