Dye Trees is a mod included in Magic World 2 and Monster that adds differently colored trees to the MineCraft overworld. These trees drop dye relative to their color after breaking their leaves, as well as colored saplings. It may be grown like a normal tree (the logs generated are random though), and allows for further gathering of the dye.
It also adds a special sapling/tree called the Rainbow Sapling which generates, as it's name implies, a tree with rainbow colors. The leaves colors are based on their height position in the world and each leaf drops several kinds of dye colors, as well as semi-rarely apples and Golden Apples as well as very rarely an Enchanted Golden Apple. It takes 4 saplings in a 2x2 square and a open space of 6x6 to grow. it grows only during daytime and needs just 1 bone meal.
