Mob Router is a block added by the MineFactory Reloaded mod. It is used to move mobs from one side of it to the other. it has an interface that can specify what type of mob such as villagers/skeltons and go as far as to only pick villagers that look the same or take the skeletons out of your wither skeleton farm.
When moving the mobs it outputs them in a 1x1 square on the other side so you could possibly use this to consolidate wither skeletons into a 1x1 space to behead them or even use the technology to make a mob grinder for XP and rare drops such as heart canisters.
